Job summary

Gordon Food Service Store LLC in Monroe, MI is hiring a Van Delivery Driver. You will manage courteous, on-time deliveries and assist with in-store operations, applying attention to detail and safe work habits.

The role requires at least 1 year of delivery driving and customer service experience, a valid license, and the ability to pass pre-employment checks including a drug screen and background check. Must be 18+ and able to lift up to 70 lbs. Benefits include health insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year previous delivery driving experience
• At least 1 year in customer service or related field preferred
• Unrestricted Standard Operators License required
• Must have a clean driving record (no drug or alcohol offenses in last 5 years)
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old
• Must pass pre-employment checks including drug screen and background check
• Must be able to use a two-wheel cart with up to 350 lb load
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs

Responsibilities

• Delivery: Locate and pick orders in-store for Wholesale customers, build customer relationships, ensure timely deliveries, perform daily vehicle inspections
• In Store: Process customer purchases at POS, secure cash/assets, receive and merchandise products, rotate stock and organize backroom
• Maintain applicable safety and courtesy standards during daily operations
• Assist with store operations before/after route as needed
