Job summary

Gordon Food Service Store LLC, the retail division of Gordon Food Service, is hiring a Van Delivery Driver in Tallmadge, OH. You will be responsible for courteous, on-time deliveries of products with a variable daily route and assist with store operations as needed.

The role requires at least 1 year of delivery driving experience and a valid license with a clean driving record. You must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and use a two-wheel cart for loads up to 350 pounds.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year previous delivery driving experience and one year in customer service or related field preferred.
• Unrestricted Standard Operators License required.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Able to use a two-wheel cart with a load weighing up to 350 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Delivery: locate and pick orders in-store for wholesale customers; build and maintain customer relationships; ensure timely deliveries; perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections.
• In Store: process customer purchases at POS; secure assets; receive and merchandise products; follow planograms and backroom organization.
