Gordon Food Service Store in Ypsilanti is hiring a delivery driver with customer service experience. You will locate and pick orders, build relationships, and ensure timely deliveries to wholesale customers, while processing sales at the register and safeguarding assets.

The role requires an unrestricted license, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Advancement programs and benefits are offered by Gordon Food Service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year delivery driving experience and 1 year in customer service or related field preferred.
• Unrestricted Standard Operators License required.
• Clean driving record (no drug or alcohol offenses in last 5 years).
• You must be a minimum of 18 years old.
• Pass pre-employment checks including drug screen, criminal background check and MVR.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and handle a 350 lb cart.

Responsibilities

• Accurately locate and pick orders in-store for Wholesale customers.
• Build and maintain good customer relationships.
• Ensure timely deliveries of Gordon Food Service products.
• Process customer purchases at the point of sale.
• Ensure security of assets including cash, checks, and merchandise.
• Receive and merchandise products with proper rotation and planogram execution.
