Job summary

ServingSchools in Readfield, ME is seeking a school bus driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for district students and to support curricular and co-curricular activities. You will operate district routes with adherence to safety laws and district policies, ensuring punctual, secure student transport.

The role requires a valid Maine School Bus Operators License or ability to obtain one, along with a satisfactory driving record.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a Maine School Bus Operators License.
• Certified by district physician as physically fit for bus duties.
• Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) required.
• Satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective transportation to district students.
• Maintain safety protocols during transit.

• Comply with licensing and certification requirements.

Position Overview:

To provide safe and effective transportation to district students so that they may enjoy the fullest possible advantage from the district’s curricular and co-curricular programs.

Qualifications

• Valid State of Maine School Bus Operators License or ability to obtain – We offer a free in-house training program, and you get paid while you train!
• Certified by the district’s physician as being in physical condition necessary to carry out bus driving duties. - We pay for the physical!
• Satisfactory driving record

Certification:

Must possess or be able to obtain a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) through the Maine Department of Education. Competitive pay based on experience.
