Job summary

This role partners with the Shop Manager and cross-functional teams to meet delivery commitments, drive productivity, and uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop employees in an industrial environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coach, and support shop technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work execution.
• Schedule and assign personnel based on workload, priorities, skill sets, and customer delivery requirements.
• Monitor team performance and provide ongoing feedback, training, and development opportunities.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Promote effective communication and collaboration between departments and functional teams.
• Manage daily shop workflow to ensure repair projects are completed on time and within quality standards.
• Develop and maintain production schedules while adjusting priorities to meet changing needs.
• Coordinate field service scheduling and resource allocation as assigned to support customer requirements.
• Lead hands-on repair, assembly, or testing of valves and actuators as needed.
