Job summary

Mars in Albany, GA is seeking a senior Quality & Food Safety partner to lead the QMP within the value stream, ensuring delivery of products that meet all external legislative requirements and Mars' global standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating CAPAs, internal audits, and line trials, while driving continuous improvement and risk management. Strong communication and leadership in a fast-paced team are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field
• 5+ years in food manufacturing/quality experience
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FSMA
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Lead quality and food safety initiatives within the value stream
• Coordinate QMP activities: CAPAs, audits, and documentation
• Interface with R&D for line trials and material changes
• Ensure compliance with external standards (FSMA, GFSI) and internal QMP
• Drive root cause analyses and incident investigations
• Support consumer and customer complaint resolution and action plans
