The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $ 143,000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:

Eaton's Aerospace Division is currently seeking a Value Stream Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Euclid, OH facility.

Position Overview:

The Value Stream Manager will be responsible for overseeing and leading all activities associated with manufacturing and production of deliverable product to meet customer expectations. The Value Stream Manager (VSM) will be responsible for the supervision and development of both hourly and salaried resources within their High Performance Work Team (HPWT). The VSM will drive continuous improvement in production, quality and safety while utilizing the Eaton Business System (EBS) and the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF).

In this role, you will:

• Be responsible for achieving a zero-incident culture by completing and turning in safety observations
• Escalate any safety concerns to EHS Manager
• Own CONC Metrics and overall Quality Performance for the HPWT.
• Direct priorities for the HPWT to achieve Delivery Goals.
• Own the overall cost of the Value Stream.
• Set the tone for improvement including idea generation and participation in Site CI initiatives.
• Train and develop team members as well as provide oversight and coaching to other team members.
• Provide the vision and strategy.
• Lead by example - be a positive role model.
• Actively engage and recognize employees.
• Empower employees, provide resources and remove barriers for development.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in mfg. operations or operations support
• Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the Aerospace or Automotive Industry.
• Experience managing in a union environment
• Experience in a machining environment.
• Prior experience with assembly MFG. processes.
• Prior experience line balancing/ time studies.
• Continuous Improvement project experience.
• Knowledge of CNC machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repairs, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Strong project management / problem solving skills .
• Experience with working on and leading cross functional teams.
• Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Persuasive Communication skills.
