Job summary

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a Value Stream (Production) Analyst to optimize labor, capacity, and efficiency. You will design scheduling models and analyze data to support production flow and decision-making across departments.

You’ll forecast capacity needs, propose staffing based on demand, and develop dashboards and reports to keep leadership informed. Success requires strong analytical skills, Excel mastery, and proactive collaboration with teams and customers.

• Experience applying strong analytical skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• High proficiency in Excel; capable of organizing, validating, and analyzing data to identify trends.

Responsibilities

• Create capacity-feasible production schedules to promote smooth operations.
• Forecast long-term capacity needs and propose staffing based on demand and data.
• Highlight operational issues and recommend actions to minimize production impact.
• Gather data and develop/analyze/communicate informasi/results (dashboards, reports, inventory, capacity).
• Provide concise information for daily stand-up deliverables and meetings with management/customers.
• Collaborate with other departments, suppliers, and customers to drive effective communication and leadership.
• Continuously grow operational knowledge and align with company values.
• Other duties as assigned.

As the VS Analyst, you willhelp plan and execute efficient production flow for the company’s goods, data, and information. Using your strong excel and analytical skills, you will design scheduling and staffing models that optimize labor, production volume, capacity, and efficiency. Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Includes But is Not Limited To:

• Create capacity-feasible production schedules that promote a smooth and efficient operation.
• Work with functional departments to develop plans to efficiently use resources to produce maximum revenue.
• Forecast long term capacity needs.
• Propose staffing requirement based on customer needs, upcoming work, and historical data.
• Highlight operational issues and proactively recommend activities to minimize impact to production.
• Evaluate current customer and operational strategies and recommend improvements.
• Gather data and develop/analyze/communicate information/results/conclusions, i.e. operational dashboard, reports, inventory, capacity, etc.
• Provide concise information for daily stand-up deliverables.
• Gather necessary information for management and customer meetings.
• Model effective communication, leadership, and partnership with other departments, suppliers, and customers.
• Continuously grow and develop your operational knowledge and leadership capabilities by participating in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Qualification/Experience:

Experience applying strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes in order to effectively process, manipulate, and analyze data.

High proficiency in excel, with strong capabilities in organizing, validating, and analyzing data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.

Able to provide thoughtful/creative perspective and context to data reviewed, translating information into clear, actionable insights.

Experienced in effectively guiding others through their data, ensuring we understand key drivers, implications, and recommended actions.
