Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel (pivot tables, data manipulation/analysis, formulas).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic business partner across commercial, logistics, operations, and accounting teams by delivering insights that improve decision‑making and profitability.
• Support commercial execution and financial accuracy through transaction integrity, system stewardship, timely analysis, and reliable reporting.
• Evaluate value chain economics, cost drivers, risk exposures, and opportunities to inform strategic business decisions.
• Advance business transformation via technology, automation, AI, and data‑driven solutions that streamline reporting and increase efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement by simplifying workflows, improving data quality, and building scalable solutions.

Koch Ag & Energy Solutions is seeking a Value Chain Analyst to join the commercial finance team. In this role, you will support Koch’s fertilizer production businesses providing financial support, analysis and cross capability partnership needed to maximize results and drive outcomes. This position is based in Wichita, KS and is a great opportunity to take your career to the next step in a commodity business.

What You Will Do

• Serve as a strategic business partner across commercial, logistics, operations, and accounting teams by delivering insights that improve decision-making, strengthen value chain performance, and support business outcomes.
• Support commercial execution and financial accuracy by ensuring transaction integrity, effective system stewardship, timely analysis, and reliable financial reporting.
• Evaluate value chain economics, cost drivers, risk exposures, and commercial opportunities to improve profitability and inform strategic business decisions.
• Advance business transformation through technology, automation, AI, and data-driven solutions that improve reporting, streamline processes, and increase organizational efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement by simplifying workflows, improving data quality, strengthening controls, and building scalable solutions that support business growth.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Market Analysis, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Data Analytics, Supply Chain or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel (for example: spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation)

What Will Put You Ahead

• Professional experience in Finance, Accounting, Market Analysis, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Data Analytics, Supply Chain or Trade Support roles
• Experience in process improvement, transformation, or implementing automation/AI solutions, including Copilot
