Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Market finance team with reporting, budgeting, and benchmarking to drive operational excellence in a healthcare setting.

The role requires a finance-related bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) and at least two years of healthcare finance experience, with strong Excel and Access skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related degree required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of relevant healthcare finance experience required.
• Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Proficiency with Excel and Access.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain financial reports to support market operations.
• Coordinate internal and external benchmarking data to improve productivity, reduce costs and optimize revenue.
• Assist in the management of special projects, creation of staffing grids and budgets, and all procurement activities.
• Manage major capital purchases and related legal documents.
