Job summary

Counterpart Health, a Clover Health subsidiary, is seeking a Data Analyst to build and maintain value-based care metrics and develop narratively-driven analytics for payers and providers. You will translate complex data into actionable insights and deliver executive-ready summaries and QBR materials.

You will partner with Success, Clinical, and Product teams to ensure accuracy, trust, and decision-ready analytics across Medicare Advantage and other programs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on healthcare data analytics experience with payer or provider customers in value-based care.
• Deep familiarity with VBC metrics: risk adjustment, utilization, and cost.
• Strong SQL skills across claims, eligibility, and clinical datasets in cloud warehouses.
• Experience building customer-facing reports and dashboards for external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain core Value-Based Care performance metrics across risk, quality, utilization, and cost domains (HCC, RAF, PMPM).
• Develop customer-facing analytics, reports, and dashboards with actionable insights for payers and providers.
• Analyze Medicare Advantage performance data to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities at multiple levels.
• Translate complex data findings into executive-ready narratives: summaries, visuals, and QBR materials.
• Conduct deep-dive utilization and cost analyses to identify levers for improvement.
• Partner with Customer Success and Provider Operations to prepare performance reviews for customers.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to validate data pipelines and ensure metric consistency.
• Contribute to scalable analytics infrastructure: reusable SQL libraries, metric definitions, and documentation.
