Job summary

Coda Search│Staffing is partnering with a Global Investment Manager to recruit a Head of Portfolio Valuations, SVP/SD level, to steer valuations across private equity, securities, real estate and illiquid assets. The candidate will collaborate with Investment/Front-Office, Accounting and Finance, legal and Tax teams. A 10+ year track record in alternatives is required for this senior role. The position entails mentoring a team and delivering timely valuation insights.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing, editing and reviewing valuation models for PE, securities, real estate, and illiquid assets.
• Experience with large asset managers or consulting firms is preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and validation of valuation models for private equity, securities, and real estate.
• Lead valuation process including compliance, static analysis and stress-testing.
• Provide expert valuation guidance on intangible assets, royalty streams, and licensing.
• Manage cross-functional collaboration with investment, accounting, finance, tax and legal teams.
• Mentor junior staff and develop team capabilities.
• Communicate methodologies and findings clearly to clients and management.
