Job summary

Armanino Advisory LLC in California seeks a senior real estate valuation professional to manage and deliver engagements for financial reporting, tax compliance, and transaction support. You will supervise analysts, review analyses, and maintain client relationships.

The role requires 5+ years of real estate valuation experience and designation(s) such as MAI, ASA, CPA, or CVA. You will work with Directors and Partners on scope, budgets, and deliverables while mentoring the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, accounting, finance, real estate, economics, statistics, mathematics, or engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of real estate valuation experience within a valuation firm, public accounting firm, consulting firm, or real estate appraisal firm.
  • Relevant valuation designation(s) MAI, ASA, CPA, CFA, CEIV, CVFI, ABV, or CVA.
  • Prior experience effectively resolving external review issues, including auditor, regulatory, or third-party appraisal review comments.
  • Experience managing real estate valuation engagements and serving as a primary point of contact for clients.
  • Experience performing and reviewing valuation analyses utilizing the income, market, and cost approaches.
  • Ability to develop external relationships (networking, referral sources, etc.) and contribute to business development initiatives.
  • Experience supervising, mentoring, and reviewing the work of valuation professionals.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope and budget.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other service lines to identify cross-selling opportunities and deliver integrated solutions to clients.
  • Manage key engagement metrics, including utilization, realized, and project profitability.
  • Participate in business development activities, including networking, proposal support, and referral source development.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment while maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.

  • Experience reviewing appraisals in audit review capacity.
  • Strong experience in real estate appraisals for financial reporting purposes.
  • MAI designation.
  • Experience mentoring and developing valuation professionals.
Compensation
  • For Colorado residents: $115,100 - $156,900.
  • For Washington, Illinois, New York, and Southern California residents: $126,700 - $172,600.
  • For Northern California residents: $132,400 - $180,400.
  • Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
