Cherry Bekaert LLP in Atlanta is seeking a Manager to join our Valuation Services team. You will lead and manage valuation engagements from planning through delivery for external clients and internal audit support.

This role emphasizes mentorship, client development, and innovation, with exposure to pre-deal analyses, portfolio valuation, tax valuation, and the use of AI-enab enabled tools to enhance engagement delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CFA and/or ASA credential preferred.
• 5+ years of valuation services experience in public accounting, consulting, or related professional services.
• Expertise across multiple valuation disciplines: pre-deal, PPA, tax, portfolio, impairment analyses.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
• Experience managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
• Working knowledge of AI technologies and platforms to enhance valuation analyses.
• Proven ability to build relationships and contribute to business development.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation by integrating AI-enabled solutions into valuation processes and client engagements.
• Collaborate with colleagues across service lines to deliver comprehensive client solutions.

As a trusted advisor, you'll work alongside accomplished professionals on a broad range of valuation projects, including pre-deal analyses, business enterprise valuations, purchase price allocations, tax valuations, and portfolio valuations. As a Manager, you will:

• Serve as the day-to-day project leader across a diverse portfolio of valuation services, including pre-deal valuation, financial reporting, tax valuation, and portfolio valuation engagements

• Partner with practice leadership on business development initiatives, client relationship growth strategies, and market expansion opportunities

• Represent the firm through presentations, industry conferences, seminars, and thought leadership activities

• Identify and manage project risks while maintaining high-quality client service and engagement profitability

• Mentor, coach, and develop professionals across the valuation team, providing ongoing guidance, performance feedback, and career development support

• Evaluate staff performance through engagement reviews and year-end assessment processes

• Help drive innovation by identifying opportunities to integrate technology and AI-enabled solutions into valuation processes and client engagements

• Collaborate with colleagues across service lines to deliver comprehensive solutions that address client needs

What You Bring to the Role:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field

• CFA and/or ASA credential preferred

• 5+ years of experience performing valuation services within public accounting, consulting, investment banking, or a similar professional services environment

• Demonstrated expertise across multiple valuation disciplines, including pre-deal valuation, purchase price allocations, tax valuation, portfolio valuation, and asset or goodwill impairment analyses

• Advanced financial modeling, accounting, corporate finance, and analytical capabilities

• Experience managing multiple projects and delivering high-quality work in fast-paced environments with competing priorities

• Working knowledge of AI technologies and platforms, with a passion for leveraging innovative tools to enhance valuation analyses and engagement delivery

• Proven ability to build relationships, collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues, and contribute to business development efforts
