Job summary

Overtonsecurity is seeking a qualified security officer for one of our sites in the Vallejo area. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience in security or military/law enforcement, or a bachelor’s degree from a 4-year institution, and must pass background screening.

A valid CA BSIS Guard Card, a driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read, write and communicate in English are required. Flexible schedule with weekend shifts is common.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in the security industry or military, law enforcement, or have bachelor's degree from 4-year academic institution.
• Must pass background screening
• Driver's License required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid CA BSIS Guard Card
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening
• Must have a reliable means of transportation
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to be customer service oriented, with the ability to interact with all levels of individuals in a courteous manner
• Flexible schedule required, most shifts require weekend availability
