LEARN Academy is interviewing for onsite School-Based Speech Therapists in Vallejo, CA. You will deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students with special needs, collaborating with teachers and families to support their educational goals.

Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, progress monitoring, and ensuring alignment with IEP objectives. A strong multi-disciplinary teamwork orientation and ongoing professional development are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Praxis Examination passed in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Maintain licensure per ASHA requirements and CA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' communication abilities (articulation, fluency, voice, expressive/receptive language).
• Develop and implement SLP therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate speech strategies into the curriculum and provide consultative services.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development to stay current in best practices.
