Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Validation Engineer for Powertrain, Engines, and HVAC to help validate automotive systems across the product lifecycle. You will design analyses and CFO validations, collaborating with cross-functional teams while applying automotive standards.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems Engineering (ABET-accredited) with 3–5 years automotive experience and strong communication skills to convey technical content to non-technical

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science: Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems Engineering or an equivalent ABET-accredited degree.
• 3 to 5 years of automotive experience.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written, and ability to communicate technical content to a non-technical audience.
• Automotive Systems Background.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Knowledge of INCOSE requirements decomposition.

• Create, update and track CFOs (Customer Feature Objective) efficiently.
• Conduct thorough analysis to ensure CFOs align with project objectives and standards.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and follow best practices to align on a global strategy for new features.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and voice of customer clinics to support the development process.
