Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, chemistry, or related field.
• At least 5 years designing and qualifying products against specs.
• Advanced knowledge of design and test standards for consumer products.
• Strong background in heat transfer, vibration, environmental and life-cycle testing.
• Experience with test equipment and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop tests rooted in consumer use and DFMEA inputs.
• Support test recommendations with statistical analysis.
• Document procedures for global lab partners to run tests.
• Serve as validation expert on project core teams.
• Translate customer use cases into test protocols and baselines.
• Travel up to 5% internationally.
