You will work with systems engineers and project teams to diagnose technical issues, identify root causes, validate solutions, and communicate validation status to key stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to influence product performance and reliability through hands‑on testing, technical problem solving, and ownership of vehicle‑level validation activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive product validation plans by integrating analysis and testing based on Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
  • Lead integrated system and full‑vehicle testing to evaluate product performance and reliability.
  • Diagnose testing issues, conduct root cause investigations, and ensure solutions are appropriately validated.
  • Partner with systems engineers to collect test data and evaluate design improvements for issues identified during testing.
  • Plan and support field testing activities in coordination with broader validation efforts.
  • Track and communicate DVP&R status, testing progress, and validation results to project teams and management.
  • Support the development and improvement of documents, processes, and procedures for testing and validation of off‑road products.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
Desired Competencies
  • Technical / Functional Expertise: You apply the required technical or professional knowledge to perform your role effectively and stay current within your area of expertise.
  • Problem Solving: You identify issues, assess root causes, and implement practical solutions that balance speed, quality, and risk.
  • Communication: You clearly convey information, ideas, and expectations to diverse audiences, adjusting your message to ensure understanding and alignment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • Strong hands‑on knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Demonstrated technical analysis and problem‑solving skills, including root cause investigation.
  • Experience with test planning and coordination.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with field and laboratory testing, including reliability metrics and targets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate validation status and technical information to project teams and management.
  • Demonstrated focus on quality, customer needs, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively across office, shop, and test laboratory environments.
