Tech Mahindra is seeking a Validation Engineer in New Carlisle, Indiana, onsite at a customer location. The role focuses on developing chassis systems and validating performance, with emphasis on data-driven analysis and real-world testing.

You will set up measurement systems, guide production calibration, and ensure projects meet timing and budget targets while collaborating across the Chassis engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science.
• At least 1 year of product design/development and/or computer science experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Support the development of chassis systems to improve vehicle performance, durability and reliability.
• Set up measurement systems and design data analysis tools during Proof-Of-Concept.
• Provide technical guidance to support production and calibration of systems.
• Interface with Chassis engineering to assess risk and plan tests virtually and physically.
• Meet timing and budget constraints while achieving targets.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement lessons learned on future products.
• Correlate simulation models with physical test data.

Job Title: Validation Engineer

Location: New Carlisle

Onsite/ Remote: Day 1 Onsite at customer location

The pay range for this role is $80k- $95k per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. Tech Mahindra also offers benefits like medical, vision, dental, life, disability insurance and paid time off (including holidays, parental leave, and sick leave, as required by law). The exact offer terms will depend on the skill level, educational qualifications, experience, and location of the candidate.

Also open for C2H : $45/hr to $55/hr

Responsibilities

• Support the development of innovative chassis systems and components (ride, handling, steering systems), aiming to improve the customer experience from the perspective of vehicle performance efficiency, durability and reliability
• Support the set-up of measurement systems and the design of data analysis tools and procedures during the Proof-Of-Concept phase
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to support the production and calibration of the systems under development
• Interface with Chassis engineering community assess the risk of the proposed concepts and develop plans to manage it through virtual and physical test activities
• Meet timing & budget constraints whilst achieving the vehicle, systems and component targets
• Perform root cause analysis of issues detected in products released or under development, implement lessons learnt on subsequent products
• Perform correlation activities to align the simulation models with physical test data.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and at least 1 year of product design/development and/or computer science experience
