Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering (Electrical, Software, or Mechanical preferred).
• 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with Equipment Validation, documentation ownership, change orders, and technical writing.
• Experience leading installation qualifications and developing installation protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Manage QMS documentation, author change orders, and update work instructions in Windchill.
• Lead installation qualifications and develop installation protocols.
• Own equipment and process documentation including equipment qualifications and validation.
• Update work instructions to reflect current processes.
• Support material setup, packaging, and master data maintenance.
• Provide hands-on operational support for robotics, printers, and production equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance, calibration, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Prepare reports and metrics for monthly business reviews.
• Coordinate with vendors and support internal/external projects.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical and process-related issues using engineering principles.

Validation Engineer

Location: Avon, IN

Pay Rate: $40–$44/hr

Duration: 12-Month Contract with potential to extend/convert based on performance and budget.

We are seeking a Validation Engineer to support quality systems, change management, equipment and process qualifications, and operational troubleshooting. This role requires a hands-on engineer with strong technical writing, project management, and communication skills who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, including authoring change orders and updating work instructions in Windchill.
• Lead installation qualifications and develop, write, and evaluate installation protocols.
• Own equipment and process documentation, including equipment qualifications, non-product software validations, and temperature mapping.
• Update work instructions to ensure documentation accurately reflects current processes.
• Support material setup, repackaging, packaging setup, and master data maintenance.
• Provide hands-on operational support and troubleshooting for robotics, printers, and production equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance, calibration, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Prepare reports, metrics, and presentations for monthly business reviews.
• Coordinate with vendors and support internal and external projects.
