Job description

Job Description

Validation engineers are said to have a ';break-the-part'; mentality. They spend time identifying use‑cases where the device will stop working as intended, understand the impact and cause of those failures, and determine if mitigation is needed for quality, safety, or other reasons. They work to ensure parts perform consistently to the specifications set in the data sheet, and to conservative limits or those defined in the VVCM (validation/verification compliance matrix). This requires designing PCB boards, developing automation software to increase coverage and reduce data collection time, and implementing necessary methods for measuring device performance. Troubleshooting related systems, equipment, or device issues is also part of the role. Validation engineers often work in post‑silicon labs or develop the software programs required to run their measurements.

We are looking for a motivated validation engineer to work on state‑of‑the‑art new technology characterization. This will lead to several product families being developed and released from the Medical Product line of Data Converters and Clock Business unit.
