Job summary

Advocate Health in North Carolina is seeking a full-time Guest Services/Attendant to welcome guests, maintain a safe area, and assist with payments and forms. You may drive a golf cart as requested and will complete required trainings in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a valid state driver’s license with no restrictions, good math and interpersonal skills, and the ability to stand or walk for long periods. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Pay Range

$18.85 - $28.30

Education/Experience

High school graduate or GED equivalent. Ability to drive manual transmission. Clean driving record for five years. Mathematical skills preferred. Level I Qualified Spanish Bilingual Staff (QBS) preferred.

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration

Valid applicable state driver's license with no restrictions.

Essential Functions

1. Adheres to the Medical Center standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building. 2. Responsible for greeting guests with a helpful and caring attitude. 3. Responsible for maintaining a clear and safe area for pedestrian and vehicular traffic. 4. Completes all forms and documents correctly. 5. Collects payments and secures cash and keys if required. 6. Completes in a timely manner all Medical Center and Department training requirements. 7. Drives golf cart as requested. 8. Performs other duties as requested by management.
