Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort is seeking a valet attendant to assist guests, park vehicles, provide directions, and maintain safety and order in the parking areas. You’ll handle tickets, report vehicle issues, and work closely with a team to ensure a positive guest experience.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, 21+ age, and driving experience with a manual transmission. The role involves a fast-paced environment, flexible scheduling, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• California Responsible Beverage Service Training required upon hire.
• Valid Driver’s License Required.
• Clean Driving Record Required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• 1 year of driving experience.
• Guest service experience.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
• Good communication skills in both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented, organized, values teamwork, self-motivated, and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work with diverse cultures and backgrounds.
• Must be dependable and able to adjust to change.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to guests entering and exiting vehicles and opens doors.
• Parking and retrieving guests’ cars safely and efficiently.
• Documents tickets with guest name and notes vehicle damage prior to parking.
• Notifies supervisor of vandalism or new scratches upon retrieval.
• Operates two-way radio and maintains channels during shift.
• Makes rounds and assists other team members to promote teamwork.
• Maintains traffic control to keep fire lanes clear.
• Gives guests directions and information about property amenities and hours.
• Answers calls, handles requests/complaints, and ensures satisfactory outcomes.
• Maintains knowledge of parking lot entrances/exits and keeps area organized.
• Follows California Vehicle law and DOT regulations and company SOPs.
• Maintains clean, safe work environment; attends staff meetings; supports security as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned; does not supervise others.
