Job summary

SP+ is seeking a Valet Attendant for the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne location. The role focuses on guest experience, proactive service, and maintaining safety in vehicle handling and parking operations.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, guiding vehicles, and reporting issues. The position requires a valid driver's license, ability to drive a manual transmission, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience as Valet Attendant is a MUST.
• A valid state driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission (stick shift) is a strong plus!
• Flexible schedule including 2nd/3rd shifts and weekends.
• Ability to read, write, and respond professionally to customers and co-workers.
• Basic math to handle U.S. currency and follow instructions.

Pay rate: Day Shift: $12.00/hr + tips

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Experience & Communication
• Proactive Service: Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, finding creative ways to solve any problems that arise.
• Expert Guidance: Maintain a strong knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and freeways to assist guests with directions.
• Transparency: Clearly explain valet rates and procedures to all customers.
• Vehicle Safety & Operations
• Inspection: Carefully inspect every vehicle before parking it, noting and reporting any findings.
• Safe Driving: Strictly observe all traffic laws and safe driving practices at all times.
• Incident Reporting: Immediately report any accidents, safety hazards, or policy violations to management.
• Professional Standards
• Reliability: Arrive on time for every scheduled shift, ready to work.
• Appearance: Maintain a clean, complete uniform for the entire duration of your shift.
• Team Support: Assist management with additional duties as assigned to ensure a smooth operation.

Qualifications

• Availability: Flexible schedule to work special shifts as needed, including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends.
• Communication: Ability to read, write, and respond professionally to customers and co-workers.
• Math: Basic ability to handle U.S. currency (adding/subtracting) and comprehend instructions or memos.
• Eligibility: Must provide valid documentation to work legally in the U.S. if hired.
• Adaptability: Ability to follow instructions and stay calm during changes, delays, or unexpected events.

Physical Demands

• Active Role: Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment for long periods.
• Movement: Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance.
• Strength: Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
• Safety: Must remain alert and professional while working in a fast-paced environment.
