Job summary

VetPride Services is seeking a Valet Assistant Supervisor to support valet operations at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. The role is full-time with a schedule Monday–Friday, 11:00am–7:00pm, located on-site at the VA Medical Center.

The total hourly wage combines the base rate with a health fringe benefit, bringing the hourly total to $23.59. Responsibilities include supervising site staff, greeting customers, assisting with mobility devices, handling vehicle access

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Pre-employment background and DMV check.
• Pre-employment drug screen.
• Outdoor work in varied weather.
• Strong customer service and conflict management.
• Regular attendance and reliability.
• Ability to understand, speak, and write basic English.
• Stand 6–8 hours and walk quickly.

Responsibilities

• Greet valet customers professionally on arrival and departure.
• Open doors and assist customers with wheelchairs or walkers.
• Provide directions and assist with vehicle access control.
• Safely operate vehicles to/from valet areas.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and record findings.
• Return keys and secure vehicles at the podium.
• Follow safety protocols and VA rules.
• Present a neat, professional uniform and appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $18.50 To $23.59 Hourly

VetPride Services is seeking a Valet Assistant Supervisor in support of valet operations at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. We provide a free vehicle parking and retrieval program for Military Veteran patients. VetPride Services prioritizes the recruitment and hiring of Veterans and military personnel.

Shift:Monday-Friday, 11:00am-7:00pm

Location: Malcom Randall VA Medical Center, 1601 SW Archer Rd, Gainesville, FL 32608

Hourly Rate: $18.50 | Health & Welfare Fringe Benefit: $5.09 (paid out to you)

Your Health and Welfare Fringe Benefit will be paid to you in cash (not to exceed 40 hours per week). Your total hourly wage will be $23.59.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to the site supervisor, as needed.
• Greet valet customers in a pro manner upon their arrival/departure.
• Open doors, assist customers as needed with wheelchair or walker.
• Provide directions as needed.
• Perform valet area access control responsibilities.
• Safely operate various vehicles types to/from the valet areas.
• Closely inspect all vehicles for damage and record findings on valet ticket.
• Secure all vehicles and return key tag and keys to the valet podium.
• Follow safe driving procedure and safety protocols at all times.
• Abide by all rules and regulations set by the VA.
• Report to duty in company issued uniform; personal hygiene and a professional appearance is expected at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Will be subject to a pre-employment criminal background and DMV check.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Regularly work outdoors in inclement weather including rain, snow, heat and cold.
• Must possess strong customer service skills and the ability to respond calmly and professionally when handling conflict.
• Consistent attendance and reliability required.
• Ability to understand, speak, and write basic English.
• Regularly stand for long periods (6-8 hours) and walk quickly.
• Ability to lift to 30 pounds.
• Must have the ability to work independently and within established guidelines, follow directions, and work well with others.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Technical capabilities and basic computer knowledge.

Experience Requirements

• Management experience preferred, but not required.
• 1-year experience driving manual and automatic transmissions.
• Valet experience preferred, but not required.
