Vactor Mfg. Inc. is seeking a skilled assembler to assemble components and sub-assemblies from drawings and verbal directions in a clean, safe facility in Illinois.

The role involves mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical applications with potential overtime and adherence to safety standards. Candidates should have at least 2 years of mechanical assembly experience, be able to read blueprints and hydraulic schematics, operate a crane and hand tools, and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Minimum 2 years mechanical assembly experience with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to read blueprints, hydraulic schematics, diagrams, and build tickets.
• Ability to operate overhead crane, hoist, miscellaneous air and electric hand tools.
• Ability to work in prolonged postures (bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing, and squatting) while performing all job tasks.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
