Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in pharmacoepidemiologic studies using large health claims databases or electronic health records systems.
• Excellent writing skills with strong formatting, editing, and organization abilities.
• Experience synthesizing and disseminating information on complex issues, decisions, or policies.
• Project management skills to plan, organize and coordinate multiple time-sensitive assignments.
• Knowledge of scientific/document preparation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist CBER/OBPV staff in preparing first and multiple drafts of responses to information requests from public, academia, media, and government sources.
• Develop scientific manuscripts including study protocols, white papers, presentations, and manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals.
• Develop visual communication aids including graphs, figures, and infographics.
• Review and interpret data analyses and suggest additional analyses.
