Job summary

Cactus Communications is seeking qualified researchers to perform peer reviews for journals and publishers. Applicants must hold a Doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent, have at least two recent publications, and possess strong analytical and written communication skills. Qualifications

• Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess whether the manuscript is original and adds new knowledge.
• Evaluate study design and methodology ensuring reproducibility.
• Check whether the manuscript incorporates and cites relevant research.
• Evaluate the clarity and appropriateness of the results.
• Provide constructive feedback and suggest improvements.
• Decide on recommendations for publication based on evaluations.
