Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Vaccine Assay Scientist in West Point, PA to execute GMP cell-based and molecular testing, ensure accuracy, and support method development. The role requires aseptic technique, cell culture, and adherence to GMP/GLP standards within a mostly on-site lab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant biological lab experience.
• Experience with aseptic technique, cell culture, and potency assays.
• Working knowledge of GMP requirements and documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience with pipettes and automation workflows.
• Excellent written and oral communication and teamwork.
• Ability to learn new techniques and work independently.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform tissue culture and molecular assays to support GMP/GLP projects.
• Prepare reagents and samples; maintain instruments and troubleshoot issues.
• Analyze data and review records; perform second-person reviews as needed.
• Support quality and operational improvements and procedural input.
• Work independently while mentoring junior staff and assisting onboarding.
