Vacation Travel Advisor

Vacation travel is as popular as ever and TRAVELINK, a proud Virtuoso member, is looking for Vacation Travel Advisors with a special focus on booking cruise, tour, custom FIT, and full experiential package reservations for our vacation travel customers. As a vacation travel advisor, you should be prepared to work in a detail‑oriented, virtual team environment. This position can be either remote for out‑of‑state candidates, or in‑office at our Nashville HQ for residents of middle Tennessee.

• EXPERTISE – Savvy in both domestic and international bookings and has built up specialty experience in destinations or types of travel with a passion to stay on top of the latest news
• UP‑SELLING FULL SERVICE – Loves to ensure the customer’s full vacation planning has Travelink’s help so even if they only call for flights, you see if there is anything else you or one of our specialists can help them with
• TECH STRONG – Loves to use the power of technology to service customers and take care of business without fear of learning new software
• DETAILS ARE YOUR FAVORITE – Proactively manages details and looks for the next challenge to find success for your customers
• CUSTOMER SERVICE – Passionate about delivering exceptional results for customers

Preferred Qualities

• Proficiency in CRM database management of client profiles, invoicing, Microsoft software, professional travel booking tools, and general computer and internet expertise
• Professional home office (if remote) with a strong, stable internet connection
• Knowledge of airline, hotel, cruise, and car rental partnerships, loyalty programs, and points programs to assist customers with redemption recommendations
• Commitment to completing bookings with great detail, passion, and accuracy
• Completion of all continuing education, training, and process documentation opportunities
• Strong time‑management and prioritization skills, proven written and verbal skills, and a positive, team‑focused attitude
• Ability to build customer rapport and develop long‑term relationships
• Ability to learn, understand, and communicate all promotions and products that pertain to Virtuoso and Travelink preferred partners

Position Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as a cruise and tour packaging vacation travel advisor

• Passion for sales, customer service, and travel
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
• Adaptable to new and old technologies
• Thrives in a dynamic, virtual team environment across the USA
• Highly organized and able to shift between tasks with short notice and interruptions
• Works directly with all levels of management on special request projects
• Applies promptly to the Senior Manager of Client Service with problems, errors, and potential issues to find solutions
• Supports and sells Virtuoso and Travelink preferred vendors and partners as a first choice
• Communicates all promotions and products that pertain to Virtuoso and Travelink preferred partners and programs
• Remains focused on job‑related tasks in a home‑office environment
• Completes agreed development and training coursework
• Attends all office meetings and trainings to stay current on Travelink and Virtuoso communications
• Meets sales and performance goals as assigned
• Safeguards company information and property
• Helps resolve debit memos to minimize personal and corporate impact
• Opens to other duties as required from time to time to help the team
