Job summary

Casago San Diego, a locally owned vacation rental property management company, seeks an experienced Vacation Rental Manager to lead a designated portfolio in North County, San Diego, CA. This hands-on leadership role keeps guests, homeowners, and operations moving with high standards.

You’ll supervise a team of Property Caretakers, oversee quality inspections, manage vendor partnerships, and maintain regulatory compliance while driving portfolio performance and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory and team management background.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Technical proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Primarily working in an office environment.
• Occasional visits to properties and travel between properties; may involve outdoor work.
• Availability to work weekends, early mornings, and evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and direction for daily operations of a portfolio of vacation rental properties.
• Lead and manage the property management team, ensuring properties meet standards for cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee quality assurance inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and enforce procedures to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Recruit, train, and supervise Property Caretakers, housekeepers, and maintenance staff.
• Establish performance expectations and coach staff for growth.
• Manage vendor and contractor partnerships and ensure contract compliance.
