Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Austin, TX is seeking a Class B Vacuum Truck Route Driver to manage a route, operate a Vacuum Truck, and pickup industrial waste from customers. You will visit customer sites, perform manual labor, and ensure timely service while adhering to safety and environmental guidelines.

The role requires valid Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (within 90 days), ability to use mobile devices, and compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required.
• Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Able to use mobile devices for work orders and documentation.
• Per OSHA Respiratory Protection standards, facial hair restrictions for respirator wear.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority and follow all safe work practices.
• May visit 10-12 customer sites per day.
• Perform manual labor on sites to fulfill customer needs.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time.
• Complete documentation and labeling for each service.
• Generate/collect leads for new products and services.
• Sell additional products and services to existing accounts.
• Actively prospect for new accounts on the route.
• Maintain primary account ownership for the route.
• Ensure customer satisfaction at time of service.
• Follow all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles per DOT and company guidelines.
• Observe environmental health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Safety-Kleen in Austin, TX is seeking a Class B Vacuum Truck Route Driver (Vacuum Sales and Service Representative) to manage a route and operate a Vacuum Truck to pick up industrial waste from customers such as automotive repair shops and quick oil change businesses and transport to disposal sites.

• Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL
• Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment
• Use of various mobile devices
• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Perform physical functions per job requirements
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position
• Per OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard, 29 CFR 1910.34, employees in positions requiring respirators are required to meet facial hair standards.
