Job summary

Hogan & Sons Tire & Auto is seeking an Inspector with Virginia state inspection and emissions credentials to perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks. You will work alongside ASE-certified technicians and receive training to advance in your automotive career.

Qualifications

• Must have Virginia State Inspector Certification and Emissions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass MVR screening.
• Candidate must be motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete inspections on customer vehicles.
• Safely transport customers as needed.
• Pickup parts, tires and supplies for jobs.
• Drive company vehicle safely and obey traffic laws.
• Perform state safety and emissions inspections per guidelines.
• Tire mounting/dismounting, balancing and rotation.
• Perform oil changes and basic services as directed.
• Identify obvious repairs or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Document vehicle condition using inspection/repair orders.
• Keep the shop and service area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and report concerns.
