Job summary

Veterans Health Administration is seeking a General Surgeon to provide comprehensive general surgery care to veterans. The physician will diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of general surgery conditions while participating in resident training and maintaining a faculty appointment with our academic affiliates.

Input on staff effectiveness and performance evaluations will be obtained by the Chief of Surgical Service, with a schedule that includes standard weekday hours and on-call

Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license to practice in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary general surgery care to veterans and manage general surgery conditions.
• Participate in resident training and hold a faculty appointment with academic affiliates.
• Contribute to staff performance evaluations and quality of care within the Surgical Service.
