Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking a licensed NP or PA to perform VA General Medicine examinations, review medical histories, and complete DBQs in accordance with VA guidelines.

This role emphasizes independent practice within defined protocols, collaboration with clinicians and admin teams, and delivering precise, timely medical reports with full HIPAA compliance. Flexible scheduling options available.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license.
• Must have a collaborative agreement with a supervising physician, where required by state law.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to established clinical protocols.
