Job summary

DirectShifts in Covington, VA is seeking a General Medicine physician to perform VA C&P disability examinations, review medical records, and complete DBQs. The role focuses on comprehensive assessments without prescribing or ongoing patient care.

You will evaluate Veterans, document findings clearly, and ensure timely completion in line with VA guidelines and HIPAA. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in General Medicine, hold an active license, and bring solid documentation skills;

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible General Medicine (MD/DO).
• Active, unrestricted MD or DO license.
• Experience with disability evaluations or related fields preferred.
