Job summary

DEKA Research & Development, based in Manchester, NH, is seeking a temporary to permanent Verification & Validation (V&V) Test Technician to join our growing team. This role supports regulatory qualification and manufacturing release of medical products, demanding precise test results and FDA-ready documentation.

You'll work in a testing team, perform procedures per written instructions, document outcomes, report anomalies, and collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot.

Qualifications

• Education or training in a mechanical field (Bachelors, Associates, vocational, etc.).
• Basic knowledge or training in using test equipment including data loggers, scales and pressure gauges.
• At least 1 year experience as a test technician in a design QA or manufacturing QA environment.
• Must be familiar with test procedures written by others.
• Must have working knowledge of computer-related tasks (spreadsheets, software tools, command-line).
• Capable of lifting 25–30 pounds.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performing test procedures according to written instructions.
• Documenting test results.
• Reporting any anomalies noted while performing test cases.
• Cooperating with engineering personnel to assist with troubleshooting as needed.
• Working in a testing team of 5+ individuals with Test Manager(s) and Shift Lead(s).
