Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, V-22, to join the On-Site Quick Response Team at Naval Station Norfolk, VA. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain CMV-22 Osprey aircraft, and travel domestically and internationally as required.

The role requires 3+ years of V-22 experience, ability to obtain DoD secret clearance, and proficiency with IETMs/TEIs and precision measurement tools. Expect safety focus, teamwork, and frequent field operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of V-22 aircraft maintenance experience; heavy maintenance preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance.
• Ability to perform pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or mechanical checks.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Ability to work with IETMs and TEIs and evaluate damage with precision tools.
• Must pass DoD medical, dental, and psychological screenings.

Responsibilities

• Analyze assigned tasks and schedule timelines for repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and PPE usage.
• Perform maintenance tasks supporting CMV-22 deployments.
• Provide organizational and intermediate level maintenance at customer locations.
• Evaluate damage and perform electrical, mechanical, structural, and composite repairs.
• Ensure work meets Bell's safety and quality standards.
• Maintain rapport with military/government customers and collaborate with military maintainers.
• Provide weekly status reports on projects.
• Follow directions from CMV-22 Detachment Leads and Aviation Maintenance Officers.
