NDT companies coordinate certified technicians, radiation sources, calibrated equipment, inspection procedures, and client deliverables — usually across four or five tools that do not talk to each other. Prism is one platform for all of it: CRM and quoting, job scheduling and dispatch, field capture, quality records, safety and radiation compliance, HR and certification tracking, and invoicing through to accounting.
You will join a small team designing the day-to-day experience for people who are not software people first — technicians in the field, coordinators juggling a full day of dispatch, quality managers auditing hundreds of records. Your job is making a wide, dense product feel like it has one clear path through it instead of twenty. There is no separate frontend team standing between your designs and what ships — you work directly with the engineers building it.
What you’ll do
- Audit and redesign navigation and information architecture across a platform with more than twenty feature domains, from field capture to finance.
- Design and test flows for wayfinding, search, filters, and multi-step workflows so users find what they need without dead ends.
- Run usability tests and structured feedback sessions with real technicians, coordinators, and back-office users, and turn findings into shipped changes, not just a deck.
- Build and maintain patterns in Figma that map cleanly onto the component library engineering already ships with, so designs land as intended.
- Own accessibility as part of every design: WCAG 2.2 AA contrast, focus order, keyboard paths, and touch target sizing.
- Partner directly with engineers through implementation — no handoff limbo, no separate design review gate that slows work down.

- Tailwind CSS
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years designing production UX/UI, ideally for a dense operational or B2B software product.
- A portfolio that shows navigation, information architecture, or workflow simplification work, not only visual polish.
- Comfortable running lightweight usability tests and turning findings into a shipped redesign.
- Working knowledge of accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA) as a design constraint, not an afterthought.
- Fluent in Figma, and comfortable designing within an existing component library rather than around it.
- Clear written communication — a remote team runs on the quality of your specs and your notes.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Background designing for field service, industrial, healthcare, or another operationally dense B2B product.
- Experience working directly with a Radix, shadcn, or other headless-component design system.
- Enough front-end fluency to make small CSS or Tailwind changes yourself instead of waiting on an engineer.
- Experience designing role-permissioned software, where the same screen has to work for different roles and scopes.
- Experience simplifying navigation across a large surface with many domains, not a single flow.
