Job summary

Google is seeking a UX Engineer with a strong focus on iOS development to join the Search UX team. You will work across San Francisco, Mountain View, and other locations, shipping production-quality features and prototyping new experiences in collaboration with design and product management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in front-end development or UX engineering, including 3 years of experience using SwiftUI.

Responsibilities

Test concepts for iteration, research, and validation while conceiving and delivering innovative prototypes and driving explorations across features and products in the app.
Partner with senior team members, promote standards, integrate changes into guidelines, and collaborate across functional teams.
Lead or contribute to key projects with a systems-thinking approach, advocating for user needs across platforms.
Contribute to key projects, fostering a system-wide design mindset within the team.
