Job summary

Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking an experienced User Experience Designer (Individual Contributor) to join the Digital Retail UX team on site in Westlake, TX. You will shape user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity interfaces for desktop and mobile, translating business goals and client needs into clear, usable experiences.

Work across Experience Design, Product, Engineering, Research, Content, and Design Systems to turn insights into practical designs, apply accessibility

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of UX design experience focused on digital products.
• Online portfolio demonstrating design thinking, problem solving, and high‑quality digital product work.
• Experience across the user‑centered design process including research synthesis, user flows, wireframes, prototyping, testing, and iteration.
• Experience designing for web and mobile experiences.
• Ability to apply design systems, accessibility standards, and UX best practices.
• Strong interaction design and visual communication skills.
• Experience in Agile or iterative product development environments.
• Ability to communicate design rationale clearly and incorporate feedback.

Responsibilities

• Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity interfaces for desktop, mobile web, and native mobile.
• Translate business objectives, client needs, research insights, and technical considerations into usable experiences.
• Support product design from discovery through delivery and iteration.
• Use design system components to create consistent experiences while improving clarity and usability.
• Simplify complex workflows into approachable, trustworthy experiences.
• Explore AI-powered tools and workflows to support design exploration and problem‑solving.
• Own design tasks and workstreams with senior designer support and cross‑functional partners.
