Milwaukee Tool is seeking a UX Designer to join our digital product team, shaping experiences across web, mobile, and connected hardware. You will collaborate with Product Management, Research, and Engineering to deliver customer-centered solutions from discovery through implementation.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of UX design experience, a design-focused degree, and proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of UX-related experience in product design.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience contributing to discovery or early planning activities.
• Ability to communicate design rationale and artifacts with stakeholders.
• Ability to break down complex work and manage priorities.
• Knowledge of design research methods, including end-user interviews and usability testing.
• Experience iterating on shipped digital products using customer feedback.
• Experience applying design systems, mobile conventions, and responsive design.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools is a plus.
• Portfolio showing UX thinking, systems thinking, and shipped work.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Management and Research to understand customer problems.
• Design experiences for web, iOS, Android, and connected hardware.
• Balance customer, business, and technical needs to simplify workflows.
• Break down initiatives into design activities with risks and opportunities.
• Apply systems thinking to cohesive experiences across products and design systems.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and QA throughout the lifecycle.
• Own work from discovery through implementation with quality craftsmanship.
• Generate concepts and prototypes and validate with customer feedback.
• Share work early to gather feedback and align across teams.
• Document design rationale and implementation needs for launches.
• Contribute to UX practice and team quality through collaboration and learning.
