Job summary

SFE is seeking a UX Designer in Dallas to craft intuitive experiences for developer-facing products, including service catalogs, onboarding, and documentation tooling. You’ll lead user research with developers, design wireframes, flows, and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma, and refine information architecture across the developer portal.

You will collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure feasible, scalable designs that align with enterprise design systems and accessibility standards,

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive user experiences for developer-facing products, including service catalogs, onboarding workflows, documentation experiences, CI/CD pipelines, and platform tooling.
• Conduct user research, interviews, usability studies, and feedback sessions with developers and engineering teams.
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma.
• Define and improve information architecture across the developer portal.
• Develop user journey maps identifying friction points and automation opportunities.
• Partner with Product Managers to translate business and developer needs into solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible and implemented faithfully.
• Leverage and contribute to enterprise design systems and component libraries.
• Ensure experiences meet accessibility and responsive design standards.
• Analyze usage patterns, user feedback, and metrics to improve developer experience.
