Job summary

America On Tech in Atlanta seeks a UX Design Instructor for the Spring semester of the 2026-2027 Tech Flex Leaders Program. This contract role involves teaching a weekly 2.5-hour UX curriculum to a cohort of 25–30 high school students (juniors/seniors), with in-person sessions at times and dates listed in the posting.

You will collaborate with staff to ensure engaging, inclusive instruction, review content weekly, and contribute to program reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in related discipline or 2cc years of equivalent experience.
• Expertise and experience in UX Design.
• Experience in technology instruction with high-school age students.
• Ability to explain concepts in multiple ways to students with varying levels of experience.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum prep and instruction: review curriculum weekly, prep activities, lead sessions, develop remediation plans, foster inclusive classroom.
• Data management: ensure submission of all assignments, assess projects with rubrics, provide feedback, compile key metrics.
• General: uphold AOT values, maintain welcoming environment, attend daily check-ins and team meetings, perform additional duties as assigned.
