CapTech, a leading technology consulting firm, is seeking a UX Associate Consultant who will help craft intuitive, accessible digital experiences for Fortune 500 clients and government agencies. The role emphasizes hands-on, client-facing training with on-the-job boot camps, mentorship from Subject Matter Experts, and growth within CapTech’s coaching culture.

Graduating December 2026 or May 2027 with a Design/IS/HCI degree is preferred; a strong portfolio is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or accelerated master's in Design, IS, or HCI; December 2026 or May 2027 graduation
• Portfolio of project work examples must be submitted to be considered; provide a portfolio password if needed
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, essential for collaboration with clients and team members
• Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and eagerness to learn and grow professionally
• Familiarity with AI-powered design tools and workflows is a plus

Responsibilities

• Contribute to user-centered digital experiences through information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and interface designs
• Apply usability, accessibility, and interaction design best practices to solve business challenges
• Support user research and usability testing; translate findings into design recommendations
• Collaborate with designers, developers, analysts, and clients through the design process
• Create and present clear deliverables communicating design rationale and recommendations
• Stay current on design, technology, and AI-enabled workflow trends and evaluate relevance to client solutions
