Job Description

We are seeking a UR RN to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. This is a direct placement opportunity.

Job Purpose: The RN is responsible for providing Utilization Review and approval during the admission process, as well as providing clinical information to insurance companies at admission and during the stay. This position will work closely with Revenue Cycle staff and Discharge Planning to assist in the review and acceptance into the sub-acute rehab program. The RN will also coordinate the monthly Quality Improvement meetings and reports, as well as the Risk Management process.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current NYS License
• Preferred experience with Quality Improvement, Risk Management, Utilization Review, and Infection Control
• BSN preferred
• Familiarity with agency support availability
• PRI certification or within six months of employment
• Position urgency: Quick start
• Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. No weekends, no call
