Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current NY licensure.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred with 1–2 years progressive experience.
• Specialty credentialing and ongoing education in clinical practice encouraged.
• Maintains licensures and certifications per NYS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Completes initial and follow-up case reviews per payer and status.
• Determines patient status and level of care using InterQual/MCG tools.
• Leads daily huddles to progress care toward discharge.
• Performs initial stay reviews and ensures guideline-aligned care.
• Keeps knowledge current on healthcare economics and reimbursements.
