Job summary

Medica in Minnesota is seeking a Supervisor, Utilization Management - Ops to lead the Review Coordinators and drive end-to-end provider submissions, inpatient notifications, and prior authorizations. Based in an office setting, the role focuses on daily leadership, process standardization, and enterprise project support.

You will partner with Health Management and other segments to improve performance, coach staff, conduct audits, and manage escalations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 3+ years of healthcare leadership experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Review Coordinators and ensure timely processing.
• Identify issues, drive root-cause analysis, and implement improvements.
• Coordinate hiring, onboarding, and staff development.
• Lead cross-functional projects within Utilization Management.
• Communicate department changes and maintain SOPs.
