Peoplelink, LLC in Delaware Water Gap, PA is seeking a Utility Worker III for a US Light Industrial & Manufacturing facility. This contract role pays $24 per hour with a bill rate of $33.72 and requires steel toe shoes, full shift flexibility, and ability to perform heavy labor including forklift operation (10%). Site tours and clearances are required before start.

Shifts are 1st (7am–3pm), 2nd (3pm–11pm), and 3rd (11pm–7am). Candidates must pass pre-shift meetings and drug screens.

Qualifications

• HS Graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to operate forklift and other mill equipment.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the safety program and works to exceed all safety standards and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain general housekeeping around mill, including dumping hoppers/trash and cleaning floors/walls.
• Assist with Housekeeping Audit action items as directed by area owner.
• Assist with general duties in dry end/wet end, including use of overhead crane to move rolls and prepare for transport to trailer.
• Use forklift as required to move broke, supplies, etc.
• Keep supplies stocked in mill areas.
• Understand Mill training system, policies, and processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

SITE TOURS REQUIRED Must be Fully Cleared to Start

Must be Flexible to work all shifts:

• 1st Shift: 7am - 3pm
• 2nd Shift: 3pm - 11pm
• 3rd Shift: 11pm - 7am

Site Location: 242 Papermill Rd. | Delaware Water Gap, PA 18327

Pre-shift meetings begin 10mins before each scheduled shift. Employees may clock in up to 15 minutes early only if they are attending the meeting. Otherwise, clocking in is permitted no more than 5 mins before the shift start time. Schedule for the upcoming week is posted every Thursday.

STEEL TOE SHOES ARE REQUIRED

If selected candidates are late or NCNS, they will be terminated immediately. No exceptions

Absolutely must be able to be on their feet, labor intensive role, pushing, lifting, bending, etc. This is not just a side job, forklift is sometimes only 10% of the role, this is manual labor.

• Heavy Industrial experience

Once candidate accepts, DT should be scheduled within 48 hours. An update on the DT should be provided within 2 business days of acceptance so we know when they have scheduled, if they arrived to their apt, if the test is being sent to the lab etc.

Position Summary

These entry level positions provide labor for various tasks around the mill including picking up paper, operating forklift, cleaning, etc.. Will fill in for vacancies in entry level positions as needed. Must be able to carry/lift 50 lbs. Candidates with previous experience operating forktruck or other mobile equipment are preferred, but that experience is not necessary for consideration. This is a rotating shift position and membership in the Union is required after 90 days.

Essential Job Functions

• Participates in the safety program and works to exceed all safety standards and requirements mandated by the plant and OSHA
• Maintain general housekeeping around mill, including but not limited to : dumping hoppers/trash, cleaning floors / walls, general cleanliness of mill
• Assist with Housekeeping Audit action items as directed by area owner
• Assist with general duties in dry end / wet end as required, which may include: use of overhead crane to move rolls, cutting of cores, slabbing rolls and banding slabs to prepare for transport to trailer
• Use forklift as required to move broke, supplies, etc.
• Keeping supplies stocked in areas throughout Mill
• Knowledge and understanding of Mill training system, policies, and processes
• Other duties as assigned

Essential Job Requirements
